VNU-UET’s FIT signs the Collaboration Agreement with Identity, Japan

On 07 November, 2016, VNU-UET’s FIT has meeting and signs the Collaboration Agreement with Identity, Japan.

At the signing ceremony, VNU-UET’s representatives are Prof. Nguyen Viet Ha, Rector; Prof. Tran Xuan Tu, Head, Division for Science, Technology and Development Cooperation; Prof. Le Sy Vinh, Dean of FIT; Dr. Duong Le Minh, Vice-Dean of FIT and other FIT’s faculties. Identity’s representatives are Mr. Tsutomu Konno, General Director; Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Offshore Manager – EVA (Evolable Asia).

Prof. Nguyen Viet Ha confirms that this signing ceremony is the official step for strengthening mutual cooperation in training and research. Identity engages its commitment to recruit VNU-UET’s students after graduation. In the short term, both sides will promote the collaboration in training and research.
At the discussion, Dean of FIT, Prof. Le Sy Vinh says that both sides will create interesting, practical training courses and programs to attract the students’ participation in 2 years. Actually, Japan and Vietnam have good relationship so VNU-UET plans to build regular bachelor or engineer training programs according to Japanese standards.

 Mr. Tsutomu Konno is willing to cooperate with and to support VNU-UET faculties and students and hopes that the bilateral cooperation will be fruitful.

In detail, both sides will cooperate to grant regularly scholarship (12 million VND per year for one student); to foster foreign languages and working skills for students at Japanese IT companies; to hold internship programs at Japanese IT companies and to support the graduated students’ dispatch to Japan for working.
